23/01/2008Seeking a Minister : Two Independent Welsh Churches in the Vale of Glamorgan are inviting applications for a new minister.
There are 220 members, in total, at Bethel, Penarth (below) and Y Tabernacl, Barry (right).
There are five Welsh-medium primary and one Secondary school in the Vale, with many young families living in the area. The churches are keen to appoint an enthusiastic minister who will be ready to raise to the challenge of a hopeful future. A Unique Welsh Tradition : Thirteen parties took part in the 'Blygain Fawr' carol service at the Welsh Chapel in Welshpool, singing words and tunes that are centuries old (below).
