Summer School Learns of Ministers' Victory

The Summer School learnt how chapel ministers lead a campaign to save the Preseli hills in north Pembrokeshire from being taken over by the MOD as a tank training range in 1946. The lecture was delivered in an inspiring and humerous manner by Hefin Wyn of Maenclochog (right), the author of a book on the subject. The opposition was mainly based on moral and spiritual grounds, he said, with radical nonconformity an important factor.
