Christian Worker's Busy Year
15/06/2009"My job also involves the organisation and holding of events for the benefit of the children, young people and families that I work with. I have arranged three events, the first being a disco in Tabernacle Morriston and although it wasn’t greatly attended the children of Brynteg Gorseinon Sunday School really enjoyed themselves. We then had a successful evening of 10 pin bowling at which the children and parents of Ebeneser Dunvant and Brynteg had a lot of fun."
Siân main aim is to visit and give a helping hand to one Sunday School or Young Club every week. A rota will be prepared.
It's intended to set up at least one new Youth Club and arrange for the clubs to take part in activities together. Siân hopes to set up a group of young people to help with the work. She'll also be arranging events at Association level, like quiz nights and beach visits on Sundays ; offering to help with Christian groups within schools ; and possibly running an Alpha Course with the help of the Mentrau Iaith. Siân will be present at CWM's Windows on the World event at Llangrannog in August as well as contributing towards the Union's Development Programme within the Association.
