The President

The Revd Andrew Lenny, minister of Seion Aberystwyth, is the Union's President for the period 2010-12.
     He is already chairs the Union Council's Churches and their Ministry Department, and is a member of the Union's Executive Committee.  

A native of Brechfa in Carmarthenshire, he was educated at Brechfa school, Carmarthen Boys' Grammar School and University College of Wales, Bangor. After graduating in Welsh and Biblical Studies, he secured a Post-Graduation Certificate in Education at Cardiff University. He entered teaching and became Head of Religious Education at Porthcawl Comprehensive School.  

Andrew Lenny was raised to the ministry at Tabernacl Independent church, Bridgend and after a period at the Memorial College in Swansea, was ordained and inducted as minister of Seilo Nantyffyllon, and Dyffryn Caerau. He's been minister of Seion, Baker Street since 1987.

He's married to Rosemary and they have a daughter, Mair.
