We are grateful for the financial contributions received following the letter sent in March, with special thanks to the West Glamorgan Association (UAC) for a donation of £2,000 again this year.

We look forward to a positive response from those who have not yet sent a contribution.

Your donations are vital to the continuation of CYNNAL

MINISTERS' TESTIMONY

Ministry brings unique emotional, spiritual, and psychological pressures. Many ministers live with the expectation that they are always available, resilient, and spiritually strong. Yet behind the scenes, many face overwork, anxiety, depression, trauma, loneliness, and family stress.

Below are some responses from ministers:

1. “My sessions with Cynnal have saved me during the most difficult and darkest times of my life. Very often, just knowing that a session is coming up is enough to carry me through the week.”

2. “Without the help and support of Cynnal, I would not be alive today, let alone still in ministry. I am now thriving with new focus and resilience.”

3. “Through Cynnal, I have received healing for wounds that are decades old.”

4. “Not only has this support been a huge personal help to me, but it also means that one area in Wales still has a minister today.”

5 “Without CYNNAL, we probably would have ended up as another broken clergy family. Our kids are thriving, my wife is thriving, and I myself continue in full-time ministry.”

These testimonies show that Cynnal supports more than just individuals. It supports ministries, marriages, families, churches, and communities. Healthy ministers build healthy churches. Every minister who can continue in effective ministry because of timely intervention continues to provide pastoral care, community leadership, bereavement support, chaplaincy work, safeguarding responsibilities, opportunities to volunteer, and spiritual care to hundreds of people. As a result, the benefits of Cynnal extend far beyond the individuals receiving support and reach communities across Wales.
