Warm congratulations to the Chair of the Council, Jean Lewis, on being inducted into the Gorsedd at this year’s Garreg Las Eisteddfod.
Jean Lewis, Meidrim, is a vital figure in the community life of Tre-lech and beyond, giving tireless service to Wales, its language and its culture.
Through her work with the church, education, the Young Farmers and community organisations, she has nurtured the confidence of generations of children and young people and earned widespread respect.
As a leader, volunteer and County Councillor, she shows deep commitment to community wellbeing, Christian life and the promotion of the Welsh language, making her an excellent ambassador for the values of the Gorsedd.
